At one time a 2GB Kingston SD memory card would have been considered more than ample with the potential to store well in excess of 2000 photos on a 2MP digital camera. However as when the 2GB SD card was introduced in excess of 10years ago now, and the largest resolution of digital camera around the 2MP mark, who would have thought that 10 years down the line we would be talking about cameras with resolutions in excess of 20MP and your average point and shoot now in excess of 12MP, which basically renders the 2GB SD memory card useless in todays market. Consumers now lust for memroy cards that can store 1000′s of images for the convenience as opposed to a 2GB SD card that wouldnt be able to store much more than a couple of hundred on a 12MP digital camera.
